United States Marine 1st Lt. James Byler of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine, was injured from an IED attack in Afghanistan of 2009. He lost both of his legs above the knee and both pinky fingers from the IED explosion.

This run is raising money to be donated to Building Homes for Heroes, which is remodeling James' home to make it wheelchair accessible.
